As in previous years, an Ascension Day service was held at the Hill View Restaurant in Pissouri at 8am. Due to rather high winds, the altar was set up under cover on the margin of the restaurant. 

Whilst not as sunny as last year, we were able to enjoy both the service and the scenery from our high vantage point.  After the service, those attending moved inside for a continental or full English breakfast in the restaurant. It was lovely to chat and enjoy a meal at the same time.
